It is with a heavy heart that the Wedgewood Lodge announces the departure of our Front Desk Manager, Sarah Daigle. After nearly six years of living in Breckenridge, and most of that time working at the Wedgewood Lodge, Daigle has moved on to the “hotter” pastures of Las Vegas and all of the new adventures it brings with it. We bid a fond adieu to you, Sarah, and may the promises of new adventures treat you well!

With Sarah’s sad departure comes a new beginning for former Vail Resorts Front Office Assistant Manager, Jasmin Irby. Jasmin joins the Wedgewood Lodge family as the new Guest Services Manager and will greet guests with a smile as they come and go. While working full time at the Lodge, Jasmin is also working towards her Bachelor of Business degree from Colorado Mountain College. Please help us welcome Jasmin in her new role at the Wedgewood Lodge.

“I am very excited to start this new journey at the Wedgewood Lodge,” Jasmin said. “I enjoy meeting the guests that come and stay with us, and making a personal connection with them. I love working for a small company that makes me feel welcome and appreciated!”

We are also proud to announce another new hire as well. Barry Rubenstein joins the team as the new Marketing/Groups Coordinator after working for three years in the digital marketing realm at a local Summit County marketing agency. Barry brings with him a variety of experience ranging from public relations to video production to marketing, and is extremely eager to sink his teeth into the Breckenridge lodging industry.

“Now in my fifth year as a Summit County resident, I am excited to be able to translate my marketing skills over to the Breckenridge vacation rental industry,” said Barry. “Our guests, and those that visit Breckenridge in general, are what makes this town tick, so I am happy to be able to serve this thriving culture.”

And finally, better late than never, Maintenance Tech Dan Mayberry joined the Wedgewood Lodge family back in May. Just like many other Summit County locals’ stories, Dan moved to Breckenridge in 2000 planning on staying for just one season, but fell in love with the area and finds himself still here 16 years later.

“I’m proud to be part of the family,” said Dan. “I get to ride my bike to work everyday and experience the beauty of Breckenridge and the Wedgewood Lodge.”

While some of the Wedgewood bunch may be changing, these new hires were made while very carefully keeping with the culture and atmosphere that we pride ourselves in as a unique family-owned destination for vacation rentals in Breckenridge.
